The market has
quite a few options for customers using laser
toner cartridges,
1. OEM
Laser Toner Cartridges – The OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) toner cartridges are usually
manufactured by the company, which manufactures
the printer. They come with the printers. These
are also very expensive, though the manufacturers
recommend the use of genuine toner cartridges for
best results. However, there is not much
qualitative difference between an OEM cartridge
and a compatible or remanufactured laser printer
toner cartridge, but cost-wise the latter is much
cheaper.
2.
Compatible Printer Toner Cartridges
– A generic
company manufactures compatible printer toner
cartridges. These are at par with the branded
toner cartridges but much cheaper. Some original
toner manufacturers also offer compatible toner
cartridges for other laser printer brands.
Moreover, your printer's warranty will not be void
if you use compatible toner cartridges.
3.
Remanufactured Toner
Cartridges
– Compatible toner cartridges may not
always be available in the market. Therefore, you
may have to buy remanufactured cartridges or
recycled toner cartridges. Previously used
cartridges are cleaned, refilled with new toner
and tested at the factories. Remanufactured laser
toner cartridges are cheaper than new cartridges.
The remanufactured laser printer toner cartridges
are environment-friendly as used cartridges are
being recycled. You can help protect the earth
from harmful waste materials that is deposited
when we dispose new toner cartridges.
4. Toner
Refills – Toner
refills are sold as kits, which contain all that
is required to refill empty toner cartridges.
Toner refill kits are cheap and user-friendly. It
takes just a few minutes to refill your empty
cartridge with the bottled toner that is included
in the kit. They have a universal quality as they
can fit into any laser printer model.
